List of Module Contents for System Navigation Pad Module (Employee)

The List of Module Contents for System Navigation Pad Module allows a system administrator to customize the contents for each module. This list is accessed directly via a button on the List of System Navigation Pad Modules in the Environment module.

For each module that is active for the system, a system administrator will be able to selectively deactivate individual options, making them unavailable to any user.

For example: If in your environment you decide that the A/R module is not required, you might decide to deactivate each of the A/R functions in the financials module.

The user will also be able to insert new entries into a module. New entries must refer to an existing function. The function could be a system provided value that refers to a Transportation Manager function that is already accessible from another module, or it could refer to a user-defined (that is, customized) value. When creating a new entry for a module, use the Insert After and Belong To combo boxes to position the new link within the existing links for the module.

For the functions that you decide to keep active globally, you can declare whether each function should be automatically enabled when creating a new user group.
